I’m so excited to share my favourites with you this month, especially because I have not written one of these posts so far this year. I struggled to think of any favourites for January and February and I didn’t want to put out a post just for the sake of it. It’s sometimes hard to find new favourites, because I use the same things for a very long time.
My first favourite has to be my Apple watch series 4. When I first got my watch, I wasn’t sure I’d get much use of it, however the more I’ve gotten to know what features it has, the more I’ve fallen in love with my watch. My favourite feature is the little vibration it gives my wrist when I get a message or notification. It also vibrates when my alarm goes off. This really helps me get out of bed. I’m not a morning person!
My second favourite is a Hallmark TV show that’s also on Netflix. It’s called When calls the heart. My mum originally introduced this show to me, which I think is very cool! My sister then started watching it and was completely hooked, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m totally hooked, but a little disappointed that there’s only 4 seasons on Netflix!
As for makeup, I have a couple. The first one would have to be the GimmeBrow + Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in the shade warm Black-brown. I really like using it on days I can’t be bothered to fill my brows in. The brow gel holds my brows in place and also gives the illusion of fuller brows.
I have also been loving Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara. I have heard a lot of people rave about this mascara over the years, and I have to say it’s definitely worth the hype.
Another makeup favourite has to be my Sephora PRO Liquid Foundation Brush #63. The Bristles are soft, and the shape and size of the brush allows me to have more control over my application. It’s great for buffing liquid foundation in without making my face look and feel cakey.
As for skincare, I’ve been using GLAMGLOW’s THURSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment. I have combination skin, which means that my skin has been extremely dry these past few months. The mask leaves my skin feeling nice and soft.
Let me know what you have been loving lately in the comments section below! I’m always open to trying new things.
